I am Hilde Vanquaille, originally from Gavere, a small village in Flanders, Belgium. My husband and I rent our holiday apartment in Peu00f1u00edscola (“Penu00edscola” in Valencian, or simply Peniscola), the gem of the Costa del Azahar and beyond, and the medieval town we immediately fell in love with. Its historical charm and value and its photogenic qualities are undeniable, a characteristic which didn’t escape the attention of cinematographers either. Peu00f1u00edscola featured in films and series from the classic El Cid (1961) to the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011u20132019).
Peu00f1u00edscola offers an impressive spectrum of sights, activities, and good restaurants. The elegant town is also surrounded by breathtaking nature (namely El Parque Natural de la Sierra de Irta (Valencian: “Serra d’Irta”), and a wide range of other noteworthy villages and sights.

Calypso Azahar is a reasonably priced apartment with stunning views.
The apartment is comfortable and fully equipped, including all household furniture one can wish for to feel at home and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Calypso Azahar is an appealing, modern 2-bedroom apartment with a full frontal view of the sea, the Castle, with harbour, in its full majesty, day and night.
One of the strong suits of the apartment is its huge terrace (35 m2) with a full-width electric sun blind (the entire terrace can be covered), a large wooden dining table and an oriental corner (with mattresses and cushions), to appreciate the heavenly view in all comfort, or for your occasional siesta.
The master bedroom leads to a second terrace on the east side, with views from 2 sides. The terrace has another dining table with 4 chairs, and can be closed off with full-length windows.
The apartment is located in the quiet and peaceful residential area Cerromar (“Sea Hill”), within a stone’s throw from the beach.
Calypso Azahar is fully-equipped throughout, the apartment, as well as the kitchen (vitro-ceramic stove, microwave, washing machine, iron, ironing board, drying rack, and other household goods)
Wi-Fi is included, as well as airco, a TV, and DVD-player. It will be clean at arrival. We provide fresh sheets and towels. You will have your own private parking spot and there is a swimming pool.
The apartment is ideal for couples or small families, or 4 guests in general.
